1. About Us

247 Emergency Tyre Fix provides mobile tyre fitting, emergency tyre replacement, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, battery replacement and roadside assistance throughout Reading and the surrounding areas.

2. Bookings

Appointments can be made by telephone, WhatsApp, email or through our website.

When booking, customers must provide accurate information including:

* Vehicle registration
* Tyre size (if known)
* Vehicle location
* Contact details
* Description of the issue

Incorrect information may result in delays or additional charges.

3. Call Out Charges

A call out fee applies to mobile tyre fitting services. The amount may vary depending on:

* Your location
* Time of day
* Distance travelled
* Emergency or out-of-hours attendance

Any applicable call-out charge will be confirmed before we attend.

4. Prices & Payment

Quotes are provided before work begins.

Prices may include:

* Tyres
* Mobile fitting
* Balancing
* Valve replacement
* Disposal of old tyres (where applicable)
* Call out charge

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed.

We accept major debit and credit cards, bank transfer and other payment methods advised at the time of booking.

5. Tyre Availability

We stock a wide range of premium, mid-range and budget tyres.

Occasionally, specific tyre brands or sizes may be unavailable. In these cases we will offer the closest suitable alternative after discussing the options with you.

 6. Deposit Policy

A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Please note all deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, as we reserve time, fuel and stock for your appointment. 

 7. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where our technician has already travelled or ordered specialist tyres specifically for your booking, cancellation charges may apply.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

* Ensure the vehicle is safely accessible.
* Park the vehicle in a safe location where work can be carried out.
* Inform us of any locking wheel nuts and provide the locking wheel nut key.
* Ensure somebody over 18 years of age is present if required.

We reserve the right to refuse work where conditions are unsafe.

9. Mobile Service Limitations

Our technicians may be unable to carry out work if:

* The vehicle is in a dangerous location.
* Weather conditions make the work unsafe.
* The vehicle has additional mechanical defects preventing safe tyre replacement.

10. Warranty

New tyres are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Our workmanship is guaranteed. If you believe there is an issue relating to our fitting service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, road hazards and incorrect tyre pressures are not covered.

11. Puncture Repairs

Puncture repairs are only carried out where the tyre meets current British Standard safety guidelines.

If a tyre cannot be safely repaired, replacement will be recommended.

12. Liability

We will always take reasonable care when carrying out our work.

Our liability is limited to the value of the services supplied except where liability cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, severe weather, supplier shortages or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

13. Website Information

While every effort is made to ensure information on our website is accurate, prices, tyre availability and services may change without notice.
